Is Yours Activated?  I am talking about your belief factor, your faith!

There are several words that all convey the same message, i.e.: faith, belief, certainty, etc.

We are just at the beginning of a brand new year and for so many, you are faced with challenges that you don’t know how you are going to get out of.  I want you to take full advantage of your ability as a co-creator with God and begin to activate your faith on a new level this year.

Make this declaration with me.  This year is a phenomenal year!

I have declared that 2012 is the year of the “B.I.G. L.E.A.P.” (Blessed In God [by] Living Energetically, And Authentically with Purpose and Passion).

Are you ready to jump start the creation process for the most fabulous year ever?  I want to share with you a few principles that will take you a long way into creating the life you know is yours:

• Desire... Dr. Wayne Dyer in his Book, Manifest Your Destiny said that desire is the first step in the creation process.  Jesus said it like this:  “Whatsoever things you desire when you pray believe that you receive them and you shall have them.” (Mark 11:24)

• Your desires are seeds, when cultivated with thought, will yield you a harvest in your physical world.  Don’t give up on your desires no matter what!

• Faith is the external elixir which gives life, power and action to the impulse thought! Faith is the starting point of all accumulation of riches!  Faith is the basis of all miracles and all mysteries which cannot be analyzed by the rules of science!  Faith is the only known antidote for failure! ~Napoleon Hill~

• Expectation: Once you are sure about what it is that you want to see manifest, you have to expect to see it show up for you.  Expect your needs to be met.  Expect to take leaps of faith this year.  Expect to grow spiritually.  Expect to prosper.

• Meditation: You must begin to meditate on your expected desire.  Remember, when you meditate day and night on the word of God, you will make your way prosperous and have good success.  Jesus said:
  

“… Be careful what you are hearing.  The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you—and more [besides] will be given to you who hear. (Mark 4:24 Amplified)

“If this is you God, can you say it again?  Can you make the lights blink on and off so I’ll know it’s you?”

Does this sound familiar?  If you are a Bible reader, you know about the account of Gideon.  When ask to perform a task by God he asked “If now I have found favor in Your sight, then show me a sign that it is You who talks with me.”  Gideon went back two more times and asked God to perform different tasks so that he would know if what he was hearing was really God.  (The Bible – Judges 6)

As I stated in our last conversation, there are so many people that have been in church for many years, faithfully attending weekly worship services.  They love God and feel they have a relationship with God but don’t really know the voice of God for themselves.  They don’t know if what they are hearing, sensing, or feeling is from God.

I know there have been many people that have “gone off” in what I call being “Flakey”, (Exhibiting eccentric unbalanced or irrational behavior.) believing they have heard from God.  History is full of tragic scenes of misguided individuals saying they have heard from God.

In this season, you can no longer allow yourself to be held back, tormented, or confused about rather or not what you are hearing is authentic.  Here are a few things I want you to take into consideration:

• When God speaks it is clear and complete
• When God speaks there is peace, a sense of calm and well being
• The purer your heart/motives the more God will reveal to you
• When receiving a Word from God  for someone else get clear on God’s timing to release the word as well
• There is a big difference between reading ethereal energy and hearing a word from God
• Your Ego mind will try to lead you first with something false when it feels threatened
• God wants to use you to build up and comfort others

Refuse to go another year not knowing if what you are hearing, sensing, or feeling is from God.  When you settle this for yourself, you will have more confidence to step out and take action on the direction you are receiving.

Have you had a thought to come to you, hear a voice within that seemed to have come out of nowhere?  After pondering what you heard did you ask the question, is this God?  Whose voice am I hearing? Is it Mine, Is it God’s, or is it the Devil’s?

If you answered yes, you are not alone.  There are so many people that have been in church for many years, faithfully attending weekly worship services.  They love God and feel they have a relationship with God but don’t really know the voice of God for themselves.  They don’t know if what they are hearing, sensing, or feeling is from God.

Because of this, many people pass up great opportunities failing to launch the next project, start the ministry/business, or whatever the case might be.  Not knowing for sure if God is speaking to you keeps you in a perpetual state of confusion, second guessing, and depending on someone else to give you guidance.

Sadly, we have become a people  stagnant in growth and expansion because we are so dependent on someone else telling us what to do or which way to go.  As a believer, it is high time that you come to know the voice of God for yourself.  Here are some of the reasons why many cannot discern the voice of God.

• You didn’t know God could or would communicate with you
• You were not trained how to listen properly
• You are use to relying on other authority figures for guidance, i.e. Parents, Friends, Your Bishop /Pastor, etc.
• You are afraid to make a mistake
• Then there is plain old spiritual abuse from religious leaders that would not allow you to think for yourself.

Here are a few tips to get you started discerning the voice of God for yourself:

1. Know without a doubt that God wants to communicate with you
2. You are worthy
3. You are divinely supported no matter how you have missed the mark in the past.
4. Have faith in your relationship with God
5. Settle in your heart that God is not the author of confusion.  He can speak clearly and communicate completely.

Let’s face it… No matter how you set your intentions to move forward, there will be times when difficult days will find its ways to you. To pretend that challenges or difficulties don’t occur is unrealistic.

This is the time of year that most people break out of the gate running with a long list of goals.  However many people, (sad to say) don’t last through the first month of the year.  

What so many people ending up doing is getting the same repeat of  last year and the year before that and the year before that.  If you don’t have some safeguards in place you will inevitably revert back to old habits and patterns. (I know you have had enough of that!)

So, how do you stay motivated during difficult times?  I have 3 simple steps to follow to keep you motivated and on track:

Step #1:  Immediately tap into a spirit of gratitude or appreciate

It is imperative to immediately shift the focus from one of trouble to one of gratitude.  Gratitude or appreciation will activate your spirit and you can be lead by your higher spiritual self through the trouble.

Step #1:  Look at the challenge without attaching emotional baggage

Look at each situation clearly and evaluate it without attaching any emotional baggage to the situation, i.e.:

• This always happens
• Somebody is working against me
• I will never be able to get out of this…
• Woe it’s me…
• Breaking down and crying in self-pity

Look at the situation for what it is –period.   Them implement the 3 A’s

1. Ask the question, Why is this here?  What is being shown to me?
2. Assess the answer you get, ask for guidance.
3. Action, you must take appropriate action.

Step #3:  Remember why you are on the path you are on. What the “Big Why” behind the goals you have set.

This is a vital key to staying motivated.  When you remember the big why behind what you are doing, you will tap into the energy of your call or mission.  Each and every one of us should be moving in purpose on purpose (One of my Elona-ism)

Remember the people you are here to serve, touch, teach, train, help, etc.  Be certain of your mission and the divine support you have.  You are now open to move forward and handle the challenge and stay motivated.

What you are called to do is much greater than the present difficulty…
